These 4 beadsare from the Russian faceted family of beads, these beads are really bohemian but called Russian blues. The first 2 beads are 6-sided ; simple tubing; translucent blue. These 2 beads seems to have been blown which is an unusual occurence in the Russian Bead family. Picard's Volume V Page 13, strand 3rd from the top. The other 2 beads are from page 13 also and are beads # 98 and 101. These beads are from the Early to Mid 1800's, they are in excellent conditon. These beads were traded for slaves. The 2 shorter beads measure 14mm's long x 6mm's in diameter, the other 2 measure 23mm's x 5mm's and 19mm's x 5mm's in diameter.
