You are admiring an excellent Volute specimen, a rare Fulgoraria daviesi (Fulton, 1938) measuring quite large at 131.7mm and graded F++...awesome color pattern & very interesting markings are displayed...and an excellent grading for this deep H2O treasure...actually I'd say an awesome representative of this species. This beauty was trawled at 240m off NE Taiwan. A member of the esteemed Volute family and an excellent addition to any Volute collection out there.
