Hello up for auction is a great Rare Electro Brand television novelty 6 transistor AM radio marked JAPAN. The radio is in pretty good condition some light scratches, a little dusty , and also the back battery cover is missing. I looked at the radio to try to see if it works and there is a battery pack that holds 4 UM3 batteries or AA but the case has a 9volt square battery connection hooked to it and I noticed one side of the 4 pack battery holder is missing one of the connections and there was some corrosion so I unplugged that pack and plugged into the 9volt with a square battery and it came on so the radio does work. I tried to tune in a staion but couldn't get any to come in the ends on the 9volt plug are in very good condition. This is a great old transistor radio ready for your collection. I buy all my items at yard sales thrift stores, auctions, and estate sales, I try to find out as much about my items as I can but it is impossible to be an expert about everything, so I sell my items AS IS, so please email any questions before bidding.
