You are bidding on a Recipe Book Titled The New Art Created by General Electric Kitchen Institute. It's from 1934 and has the NRA symbol on the 1st page. (I didn't see that or I would've tken a picture of that). At the front of the book it has several pictures of "Modern" kitchens from the 30's with new refrigerators, dishwashers, etc. Also has suggested menus for Christmas dinner, formal teas, informal teas, Bridge luncheons, After Theatre Suppers, etc. Has lots of recipes from appetizers, meats, cakes, desserts, beverages, what to do with leftovers, etc. Also has lots of colored photos. Book measures about 7 1/2" by 5 1/4". It has 112 pages to it including the index. No rips or tears to the pages but the cover does have some creases. Still a nice book for being 74 years old. I will ship this by Media Mail instead of Priority. Shipping will include Delivery Confirmation. Insurance is still optional but recommended. Items come from a smoke free home.
