This is a cute, cute detailed Rinconada Baby Sea Otter (#67B). The piece is just terrific with the little star on his tummy. It was issued in 1987 and now RETIRED. This is part of the Classic Design Collection. This piece (as are all of the Artesania Rinconada collections) was hand carved and painted in Uruguay, then fired in a kiln. The Otter is NEW, never displayed. It has been stored (unopened) since arriving in the U.S. It is approximately 2 1/8" long.
