Heavily soldered in what appears to be gold overlayed brass. Almost 10 full inches across. Made of Capiz Shell all in perfect condition - one of the 'waves' is missing a teeny spot of paint. The dolphins appears to have been airbrush painted. Really delicate and well done shading & color graduations & very lifelike eyes. I scanned this (hence the cut-off edges) - so you cannot appreciate the beauty as if it was in a window - but it is gorgeous! Looks good from both sides when the sun shines through!
