Ok, so this is embarrassing. When I first started collecting soviet years ago I bought this "rare medical tunic (medical because it's green although that doesn't show well on the pictures). It had soviet buttons and sewn on boards and a guards badge and I just couldn't understand how I got such a good deal. That would be because everyone else knew this was a messed with Russian Federation tunic. Later I decided, "that's cool" as I embarked on developing a complete line of medical tunics from 1922 to current. Then the collection changed and this was caught in mid transformation. What you get is the tunic (size medium), Federation corps devices on the collar, federation medical qualification "wings", a nice graduation badge, a federation medical badge, readiness pin, blood donation pin, the soviet buttons still in place, and a sewn on ribbon bar (ribbons for 60th & 70th red army jubilee (1978, 1988) and 10 year irreproachable service). These ribbons would correspond to someone who started his service soviet and finished federation. But wait, there's more! You get a bag of both small and large russian federation buttons (about 8 times as many as you need to finish the project) and a russian federation MVD patch for the arm. All you need are the epaulets and you can finish what I started. Opening bid doesn't even cover the medical badges. I'm letting go of a lot of my stuff post 1955 over the next couple of months so see what else I got and combine postage. Low opener and no reserve to tempt you!
