VERY LOW OPENING BID WITH NO RESERVE!For your consideration is a Beautiful SET of EIGHT (8) Vintage/Retro COUROC Inlaid Butterfly SERVING TRAYS! Each tray measure about 8.5" square and all eight are marked "Couroc Monterey California" in raised lettering and every tray still shows its original gold foil label which explains the Couroc process...see picture.The Couroc company began in 1948 in Monterey California. Couroc's hard plastic (phenolic) products included serving trays, bowls etc. A sticker attached to the back of their products declared "Couroc serving pieces are cherished gifts because of their variety and beauty of design. Hand inlaid by master craftsmen, shells, coins, woods and metals are fused into satin black Phenolic (plastic) which is impervious to alcohol and boiling water. Wash with mild soap and water...see picture."All eight trays are in excellent used condition with minimal signs of use...if they were ever used at all?This lovely group of highly collectable, vintage retro trays would make great addition to any collection & decor!
