This is a near mint Smokey Bear 50TH award for "Outstanding Contribution To Wildfire Prevention" . It is oak with laser metal artwork and is 11 1/2" tall X 10" wide. There is a slight scratch in the lower left hand corner of the name area which is hardly noticeable. This award is unique as it shows the move to change Smokey's message from "Prevent Forest Fires" to "Prevent Wildfires".
