Star Trek CCG: Set of 5 Autographed Cards - signed by Armin Shimerman The Star Trek Customizable Card Game was released by Decipher Inc. in 1994 based on the popular Star Trek: The Next Generation series. The game continues to this day, filled with excellent images of the cast and characters of Star Trek TNG, as well as Classic, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, as well as the Enterprise cast. You're bidding on five (5) unique Star Trek CCG cards featuring Armin Shimmerman in roles he has played, or items that featured prominently with his characters. Armin Shimmerman is known for playing a number of roles from Star Trek TNG, as well as Deep Space Nine where he was the main cast character Quark. These characters are shown on several cards released by Decipher over the span of the game including the following: Betazoid Gift Box - White-bordered edition released in 1995 Letek - Rules of Acquisition edition released in 1999...represents the FIRST appearance of Armin Shimmerman as a Ferengi! Bractor - Rules of Acquisition edition released in 1999...another Ferengi, Daimon of the Kreechta, whose ship attacked the USS Enterprise-D during a wargame exercise. Quark's Isolinear Rods - Rules of Acquisition edition released in 1999...an item that featured prominently in one of the episodes of Deep Space Nine. These cards were signed by Armin Shimerman at a Star Trek convention several years ago using a black sharpee. Unfortunately, it has been some time since I last attended a convention, so it is difficult to remember which convention it was where he signed the cards. The cards are in mint condition and the signatures are 100% guaranteed authentic. I have sold other Star Trek CCG autographs in the past and these cards are actually the last of a large number I had for auction several years ago. It's amazing what you find when you clean around your house, isn't it??? Be aware, this is the first time in several years that I've posted these kinds of autographed cards on eBay for sale. A recent inspection of eBay's vast Star Trek memorabilia has shown that these kinds of autographs are hard to come by and cards like these are almost non-existent for sale. You're bidding on something truly unique and interesting. Whether as a collector of the Deep Space Nine series, or Star Trek in general, this card is an excellent addition to anyone's collection. Decipher Inc is well known for using some extremely well-placed images of the Star Trek characters for their cards and you're sure to get something special! First, let me say that my eBay feedback rating should give any bidder the peace of mind that I am not a newbie who has just popped on the scene to unload some junk, claiming it to be real. Second, while I didn't make it a habit of taking a picture of myself with the actor to prove that I was at the convention, I can say that, yes, I did attend the convention where Armin Shimerman made an appearance, and yes, I did PERSONALLY hand the cards to him and watched him sign them in front of me. HOWEVER...knowing that some folks are particular about their autographs, I'll state the following guarantee... If the winning bidder has any question about the autographs, he/she is welcome to have them checked out by a reputable autograph dealer to verify the signature's authenticity.
