~Beautiful Antique Wooden Hair Comb~ This is such a pretty piece. I've never seen another one like this before. It's a hair comb. I'm assuming it's actual hair comb (for combing hair) as there is no bend to it like hair combs you wear would have. It is 5" long and about 3" tall. Very pretty addition to any collection, or just lovely sitting out no an antique vanity. ~~*PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BID*~~ Estate items, which I often sell, are oldies. They are most likely not mint, they are most likely not perfect. If I state they are broken or do not work, has a hole, stain, etc. please believe me that this is the case. In the rare case that a vintage item is mint, I will state it as such. Key words here are: fix, parts, broken, stain, hole, repair. That usually implies your item is incomplete, imperfect, or not working. I've gotten two poor feedbacks lately for items that I clearly stated had visible damage. One told me "there was no glass on the pocket watch"..HELLO! I showed that in my photo, and clearly worded that as well. Shouldn't have been such a shocker for the bidder, but apparently it was. And now I must live with a neutral from this brainy fellow for a whole year. But I digress... Best idea of the day..when in doubt, PLEASE ASK if you need more information to make an intelligent decision regarding a possible purchase. If you want absolute vintage perfection, you will most likely not find it here, and I'd suggest moving on. Alright, next thought...if a problem arises, it's protocol to CONTACT YOUR SELLER FIRST. I generally do not put items on Buy it now, unless specified. I work for too many people, to call and confer, then change it, etc. It's just way too complicated, so my items run their full course, unless otherwise specified. I often do not know the history, and really can't be an expert on every kind of estate item I list. But my items are all kept in rubbermaid storage bins, and I've never had any complaints. However, since many of my items are estate finds, I do not always know their history.
