This auction is for 6 Vintage Rare and Super Powerful SAMARIUM - COBALT Slot Car Magnets for Tyco Cars. They are Very Small as you can see in the picture (apx. 1/8" x 1/4" x 1/16") but they are also EXCEPTIONALLY STRONG - over 35,000 Gauss and are Chrome Plated. These are going for a Very Small Fraction of their original price, and are all SAME POLES - NOT MATCHED OPPOSITE POLE PAIRS. These are SO POWERFUL that they will erase a credit card's magnetic strip with a single pass. Something you wouldn't want to do however. The winning bidder will receive 6 magnets per auction lot, and there are 4 lots being offered on this Dutch Auction, for a total of 24 pieces if you make a bid for 4 auction lots. These are equivalent to N50 Neodymium Magnets however they are stable and retain their magnetic properties at considerably higher temperatures. They are however Very Fragile and will shatter like glass if you strike them hard or they make quick contact with other magnets so special handling is necessary. They make EXCELLENT COMPASS NEEDLE MOVEMENTS with quick correction to Magnetic N/S due to their small size and Very High Strength.
