Sergeant's Dog Book is a booklet advertising Sergeant's dog medicines. It has tips for proper feeding, training, grooming, exercise and treating common ailments.This 35 page booklet is in very nice condition with some spots of discoloration in bottom right corner of pages 1 through 6 and a very small amount of wear on right corners top and bottom. I can't find a date, but there is a chapter called Dogs in War which expains "The Quartermaster Corps 'inducted' the first batch of canine recruits early in August, 1942.............The Army's goal is to have 125, 000 dogs in training". There is a paragraph about the kinds of dogs they want to use and it is written in the present tense so I think this booklet was printed during WW II. As you can see from the picture the mailing envelope has some wear and age discoloration with a name in ink. Satisfaction Guaranteed We will be happy to combine items for actual shipping price.
