BOXED SET OF 6 STERLING SILVER TEA SPOONS, STRAINER AND SUGAR TONGS - THOMAS BRADBURY AND SONS SHEFFIELD 1928 This attractive and stylish boxed set of 6 tea or coffee spoons, strainer and sugar tongs have been in the family many years, but my parents have been clearing out their attic, so they need a new home to go to where they will be better appreciated! The set comes in its original velvet and satin-lined presentation box which has the mark of the goldsmith H. G. Allen in Chatham. Each is hallmarked with the Lion Passant (Sterling silver), and with Thomas Bradbury and Sons, Sheffield, 1928. The spoons measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.5cms) long, the strainer 6 inches (15cms) and the tongs 4 inches (10cms). They all look to be in excellent and clean condition. Although there is from some wear to the outside of the case (mainly underneath), inside it is particularly well preserved and clean. If you have any questions, please ask.
