I picked up this great book to review my "how to" skills. Some of you are familiar with the current line of Singer booksa nd how helpful they are - this one is just as good. This is the 1969 edition, hardcover, in a 11"x9" x1" format. It is a hefty tome.The cover is in very good shape only one tiny smudge. The pages (428 + several for notes) are in great shape. The copyright is 1969 fromt he Singer Company. If you have technique questions, they can be answered by this book: bound buttonholes, corded buttonholes, cuffs of many styles, how to sew lace and fur, collars of many styles and much more. There is a lot of emphasis on handsewing,a nd good illustrations of how to do it. There is even a good basic home dec section. Help my clear my shelves a bit and bid on this one!
