Tourist map and brochure for Smoky Mountain National Park, produced by AAA and dated 1961. Folded size is 4 x 9" but unfolds to 12 panel, 2 sided document. One side is the map of the National Park and surrounding area. The other contains a list of Principal Attractions, Also included is lodging information and display ads, primarily for motels. It is interesting that only 4 motels are listed in Pigeon Forge, and one is listed for Sieverville. Neither community is listed in the 'Principal Attraction' discussion. The Bon-Air Motel in Gatlinburg lists the rate for two people as $7 to $10 per night. The ad boasts of 'Electric Radiant Heat'. Brochure is in great shape and describes life in a simpler time.
