Nice .999 Fine Silver round medal issued for the Space Shuttle Challenger. I do not know the manufacturer or when it was made. It is neither un-circulated nor Proof as it shows signs of discoloration in small areas as silver will do and was not in a protective casing. The front shows a Space Shuttle and says at top " Space Shuttle Challenger' and on the bottom " January 28th, 1986". The back has an American Eagle and says " In Memory of Seven Great Americans" and beneath the Eagle ".999 Fine". It weighs 1.1 ounce on my small postal scale (I think that would be close to one Troy Ounce) and the diameter is 1.5 inches. I apologize for the bad photos ... as is evident I am not very good. I get a lot of reflection and it makes the medal appear a copper color in areas. It is silver.I ship only to the United States. If more than one lot is won, I do combine, repack and adjust the S&H accordingly. Insurance is optional at the buyer's request and expense. Shipping and handling on this item is $2.50. I normally ship within 48 hours of receiving payment.I accept PayPal, Money Order or Cashier's Check. Thanks for bidding!
