This is an old stamp holder with a small clip that you place a letter in and it will tell you the weight. The knob on the stamp holder unscrews so you can place a roll of stamps inside and pull them out one at a time. The scale goes from 0 to 2 ounces and has a pointer that moves with the weight of the letter. It is gold metal (maybe brass?) with black metal bottom. It is in very good condition, no scratches or dents. The stapler is made of metal and is dark red on the bottom and gray on the top. The top is marked: Use Arrow No 25-49 staples. The bottom reads; Arrow Fastener Co., Brooklyn N.Y.U.S.A., Pat Nos. 2205709,2312142 others pending. It is in good shape, but has surface wear and a few tiny rust spots.
