Stanley No. 90 Folding Rule Mellow Yellow Ivory This old Stanley No. 90 1’ four-folding Rule has the mellow-yellow patina as ivory tools get with age and this is a fine example. There is brass trim on the ends, middle and on the hinges. Some say this indicates that this rule was made before 1860 according to the internet. The calibration is very readable. See photos. The legs lie flat and there is no warping. The pins are intact and align with the mating holes. The # 90 is light but it is stamped on the outside and inside. The rule is not marked Stanley as is often found. This fine example comes as it was found. There has been no cleaning. It is nice as it is! Again, the name Stanley is not on the rule.
