This Medallion is 2 1/2" in diameter and weighs 6 oz. I'm not sure, but I think it is antique gold plated. The front says: STAR TREK IV THE VOYAGE HOME with a 3-D picture of the Enterprise and other things from the movie. On the back it reads: "THE CAST AND CREW OF STAR TREK WISH TO DEDICATE THIS FILM TO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE SPACESHIP CHALLENGE. THEIR COURAGEOUS SPIRIT SHALL LIVE ON TO THE 23RD CENTURY AND BEYOND" PARAMOUNT PICTURES*1986 1708. There is a picture of the challenger in the background. I'm assuming the 1708 is the medallion number. The medallion does have some tarnish spots on it. I didn't try to clean it. Also the red, white and blue ribbon attached to it is sun bleached. I found this in my brother's belongings after he passed on, so I don't really know what it is worth. He was a big Star Trek fan. I just hoping to pass it on to the next Star Trek fan in his honor!
