Star Trek The Motion Picture, Pre-Release Press-kit. 1979 Publicity Dept. Paramount Pictures. The black book on the right is actually a Folder,(8 1/2" x 11") with pockets inside each cover. Folder contains: left pocket has a 19 page white book with the Star Trek the Motion Picture Logo in white on the front, it describes various aspect of the movie. right pocket has a plastic packet with 6 different high gloss stills,(8" x 10") each still has it's own attached discription sheet with a different serial number on each sheet ie.ST-5355-25. pocket on the right also contains: a 10 1/2" x 8" approx. 30 page book with a brief Autobiography of Gene Rodenberry and several other top cast members from the movie. 3 items total in the folder. the white Book on the left is Newsletter no. 1 summer 1979 approx 6 pages. The book pictured by itself is "TREK" the magazine for Star Trek fans no.15, Magazine is a review of the Movie by Walter Irwin. 38 pages winter 1980. all the material described and pictured in this advertisment is in near mint to mint condition, all sealed in plastic wrapers.
