I don’t how to describe this gorgeous vintage vanity set other than absolutely amazing in detail and condition, and I have never seen a set like this anywhere. This set includes a mirror, hairbrush, comb, perfume bottle and a lidded jewelry box. The “mirrored part†of the mirror itself is absolutely perfect which was really surprising to me. As far as the material inside the decorative part of the mirror, there is a small spot of water damage but almost not worth mentioning because the rest of the piece is perfect. The mirror measures 14†in length and 6-1/4†round, and as you can tell by the photos, the detail is truly hard to describe. The brush is perfect as well and almost looks as if it’s never even been used as all the bristles are straight and perfectly in tact. The brush measures 10-1/4†in length. The perfume bottle has all its stones, is extremely detailed and measures 9†in height. I didn’t realize what this piece was until I tried pulling up the “topâ€â€¦turns out it holds perfume and there is a clear long piece that is used for dipping and applying the perfume. The comb is perfect, has no missing teeth and measures 8†in length. The lidded jewelry box measures 6-1/4†in length, 4-1/2†deep and 2†in height and is footed. The material inside the decorative portion is a little crinkled (not bad) and the hinge, unfortunately, is broken. The inside of the jewelry box is a deep brown velvet material and I just found four old hat pins on the inside of the lid! I usually do not put a reserve on my items, but I must do so on this set because it is truly unique, one-of-a-kind and absolutely stunning and in excellent condition. Enough said!
