This auction is for the Superman minature Bowen statue (3.75" long x 2.75" deep x 5.375 tall) pictured. This is not the full-size statue but the minature version. This is the hand painted, cold cast, porcelain statue designed by Dan Jurgens and sculpted by Randy Bowen. It was released in 1998 and is hand numbered 0536/5000. The box is complete but very worn, especially around the edges and corners from storage. One side shows a slight indentation and with scuff marks. In comic grading terms I would say very good +. I will mention that even though the box is very worn, it is totally free from repairs with no tape or staple marks. It's complete but worn! The Superman figure itself is in excellent condition. I see no cracks, fractures, scratches, or ay type of imperfections. It's been on display in my living room for years so if anything, it might be a little dusty...Condition-wise, it is in fantastic shape though. The base of the statue, the Superman "S" symbol, does show slight wear. I'm not sure if it's from the styrofoam packing, general fading, or a painting imperfection. The best way I can describe it is that in some areas on top of the base, there are spots where the color is scuffed off. The base is complete and I do not detect any fractures, cracks or nicks. It's just that there are a few spots where the paint/color appears scuffed/worn off on top of the "S" symbol.
