"When the planet, Krypton, exploded, the only one to escape was an infant, who was blasted to earth in a space ship. He grew up to become Superman. His identity was the best-guarded secret on earth - he posed as Clark Kent, mild-mannered Daily Planet reporter. The best-guarded object on earth was the unique Moon Gem, brougth back to earth by the Apollo XXII astronauts, and a criminal scientist, Mikro, plotted its theft. First, he had to outwit and neutralize Superman. The evil genius designed a great robot, Computer Crook, to do the job. How close he came to stealing the Moon Gem and what Computer Crook's fatal flaw was, and how only Superman could save the day, is a matter of history recorded within."
