Sweet Caporal Cigarettes Celluloid Flag Pinback Lot 17 Description : I recently purchased a lot of pinback button and metals from a variety of fields. This auction is for seventeen (17) pinback buttons that I think were given out by SWEET CAPORAL CIGARETTES. This is the Flags of All Nations series. They each measure about 7/8" across. Some are the older celluloid and some are the lithographed tin. They are pins representing: ORANGE FREE STATE....SCOTLAND...MONACO....PORTUGAL...BRAZIL...SYRIA...PANAMA..HAYTI (SP)....HONDURAS...PHILLIPINE...GREECE....MEXICO....JAPAN....ARMENIA...NORWAY...UNITED STATES...HANOVER (?). I think these items are from the 1920's or 1930's. They show some age/use wear but pictures should show condition of the lot. The Hanover pin has some cracking and damage to the celluloid. Condition is good, for age...some age/use wear. Nice, vintage item and probably hard-to-find. I have shown pictures of both sides to better show style, design and condition.
