TEA COZY VINTAGE CROCHET HEARTS BLUE AND TAN GINGHAM CHECK Size- H 9.5" x W 12.5" Don't you just love beautiful handwork? Centered on the front of the tea cozy are three crocheted hearts of tan color. The rest of the tea cozy is made from gingham fabric in navy blue and tan. The lining is a matching tan/gray fabric. The inner lining is quilt batting. Each tea cozy I make is uniquely created with accents and fabrics I collect from vintage shops. I enjoy giving a new life to these beautiful creations our mothers, grandmothers, and aunts spent their creative talent making. Every time I use one of these tea cozies, it is a reminder of their lives and the beauty they created with their hands. How thick should a tea cozy be to be effective? It depends on what is used for the inner lining. If a thick material is used to hold the heat in (such as quilt batting), the tea cozy will feel thick and work well. If a thin inner lining is used (such as fleece), even though it feels thinner, it works just as well (I think it holds the heat longer). My personal preference is for fleece lined tea cozies, because they work better and take less space to store. I use both types of inner lining in the tea cozies I sell. My preference is for Paypal payments, but will accept cashiers checks and money orders also. I ship on Mondays and Fridays. Flat fee $3.95 USPS. Additional items $2.00.
