THE VERY BEST OF THE SAINT TRADING CARD SET This auction is for a complete set of THE VERY BEST OF THE SAINT trading cards. This set was released by Cards Inc in the UK in 2003, and only a portion of the release was shipped overseas to the American market, sure to make it a tough find! This set is in mint condition. This is a complete series consisting of 100 cards in all (#1 - #100). The set is based on the original UK TV series featuring Roger Moore as Simon Templar. The set offers episode guides, which provides information about each episode along with a great image on the card front that corresponds. Other great subjects covered in this set include Damsels in Distress, The Ungodly, and The Saint in Action. There's a grear section of this series devoted to Guest Stars, and highlights the episodes featuring Honor Blackman, Shirley Eaton, Phillip Madoc, Kate O'Mara, Jean Marsh, Warren Mitchell, Barry Morse, Andrew Sachs, and Peter Wyngarde! There's also a great subset showing some behind-the-secenes images of the case relaxing, promoting the series, joking around, and more. My favorite part of this set are the Saintly Trivia questins (cards #82-90).
