Actual New York Times Newspaper You are bidding on four Pages in Sports Section of NY Times All featuring the bout between Jack Sharkey and Young Stribling Dated: February 24, 1929 - February 27, 1929 - February 28, 1929 and March 1, 1929 Each Page Measures: 17 1/2" x 22 1/4"                                                                                                                      You are bidding on 4 pages of sports history. Jack Sharkey Defeats Young Stribling. The photo of the two fighters in the ring measures 8" x 5 1/4". The two photos of the fighters in a boxing stance measures 8 1/4" x 7 1/4". The March 1 newspaper page has an article titled "Miami Beach Fight Drew $395,369 Gate" along with another interesting article titled "Berlin Gives Schmeling Rousing Reception; Gets Credit for Knockout Over Beethovan". The other pages all have various aritcles regarding the upcoming bout.                                                                                                                                                                 Additional Comments on condition of Newspaper There is normal toning of paper as expected for documents that are nearly 80 years old. As evidenced in photo, there is chipping along edge of newspaper mainly on the March 1 paper and a 1" tear at bottom of page. Newspaper is not folded but will be folded one time to fit into shipping flat box. Payment Methods Seller prefers Paypal.  Money Order or Cashiers Check is Acceptable Form of Payment. NO PERSONAL CHECKS Insurance Insurance is optional to buyer at Cost $1.65 up to $50 and is required for value above $50 at cost of $2.05 up to $100. Cost above $100 at standard USPS rates. Note that Seller takes no responsibility for items lost or damaged by USPS while intransit. Shipping Options Buyer has option on choice of shipping: The first two choices will require one fold of each page -  either USPS Media Mail at cost to Buyer of $2.40 or USPS Parcel Post at cost of $4.75. The third choice will allow for rolling of pages and placement in a USPS Priority/Express Mail Tube at cost of $6.95. Please specify shipping choice at check-out.
