THE SIMPSONS: FILM CELS SERIES TWO TRADING CARD SET This auction is for a complete, mint condition FILMCARDZ card set of THE SIMPSONS: FILM CELS SERIES TWO trading cards. This unique series consists of 45 cards in all (#1-#45), and was produced in 2003 by Artbox - the leader in FILM CARDS. This was the 2nd Simpsons Series released by Artbox. These cards (2.5" X 3.5" w/ rounded corners) are printed on clear acetate "cels," showcasing the various main characters from Springfield! When held up to the light, the details & colors are vibrant. Each cel is mounted on a fun border so that it can be easily viewed. These great cards show hilarious situations with all new artwork by Matt Groening. Characters include Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Maggie of course, but also include Grandpa, Apu, Krusty, Groundskeeper Willie, Mr. Burns, Carl and Lenny and many others! The cards are broken down into different subsets: Homey Style, Springfield Stars, Springfield Citizens, Chef Homer & Nuclear Family. This was the highly successful second series of SIMPSONS FilmCardz that were made & were a sell out directly from the company. Completing a full set of these cards was very difficult. There were not many cards in each pack, only 24 packs per box & poor collation throughout! Also included is an offer card for some FilmCardz collectibles that is also a checklist card for the full series. We happily combine postage costs on multiple wins.
