This is perhaps the definitive story of New Orleans streetcars, authored by Louis C. Hennick and E. Harper Carleton in 1965. The beginning chapter is a general history, with subsequent chapters covering Canal Street, routes, equipment, track and paving, barns and shops and more. There are many fine maps included, supplementing the many photos and extensive text. The book is 8.5"x11", with over 230 pages. Except for some spine discoloring on the cover, the book is in excellent condition.
