THE THREE STOOGES COLLECTOR CARDS "75th ANNIVERSARY" TRADING CARD SET This auction is for a complete, mint condition set of THE THREE STOOGES 75th ANNIVERSARY trading cards. This card set was produced by Breygent Marketing in 2005 and consists of 72 cards in all (#1 - #72). Each card measures like a baseball card (2.5" X 3.5"). This is the 1st all-new THREE STOOGES trading card set in nearly 10 years. These all-new cards are each colorized in vintage styling that brings the authenticity & style of the long-gone era of the Stooges back to life in what is certainly one of the most highly anticipated card releases in recent years. All of your favorite THREE STOOGES scenes are featured in this set including the most hilarious antics & ridiculous costumes that these Knuckleheads have ever gotten themselves into. All cards are colorized with meticulous detail. Some of the images are from rare stills that are over 70 years old, but they all look brand new in this card series! The extensive detail given in the text that appears on the backs of each card can rival any THREE STOOGES anthology or historical book & is sure to bring to light new details for even the most hardened STOOGES fan. Yet they offer a casual read that would be very interesting to any collector. It gives detailed information not only on the Stooges themselves (all 6 are featured here) but on the plots of their movies & shorts as well as information on the supporting cast, any cameos appearances, etc. This card set follows their professional career through film from their 1930 release "Soup to Nuts" to the 1963 release "The Three Stooges Go Around The World in a Daze." There's also information & an image on the animated STOOGES cartoons from 1965 & some of their other endeavors. A great detailed overall look at the careers of these ordinary men who became some of the most loved movie stars ever.
