Up for auction here is 3 Quilt squares machine pieced by Mom, she was no expert at quilting but she spent a great deal of her life quilting. She had three sisters from the South and they would sit around a huge quilting frame and quilt for hours. I remember at one time she had 42 completed quilts in storage. I have several quilt tops that I will also be listing they she never got around to quilting. These squares were in a large plastic bag with several others that I ironed to make them look more appealing. Mom and I did craft fairs a couple of times and she would get hundreds of dollars for some of her completed quilts. This square below is 13" square. This square below is 15" square. This square below is 17" Square. My Mom passed away several years ago, and she was a seamstress all her life. She would be 92 years old if she was still sewing. I can remember her making all my clothes as a child. Left over is yards and yards of material and I want to see if I can get any interest in her collection of material. Please check out my other auctions for an endless supply of sewing material and supplies. I believe most of the fabric that I am listing is Vintage? I'm in my fifties and I am the one who brought her around, and before that I remember my Dad driving her to local discount stores for material that she never really needed, but loved to sew.
