This auction is for a complete, mint condition LIMITED EDITION SILVER FOIL & LIMITED EDITION GOLD FOIL card sets of TIM BURTON'S CORPSE BRIDE COLLECTOR CARDS (Artbox Entertainment/2005). This complete LIMITED EDITION card set consists of ALL 63 CARDS! THAT'S 45 SILVER FOIL CARDS (#1-#45) & ALL 18 GOLD FOIL CARDS (#46-#63)! For a total of 63 cards in all (#1 - #63). Each card is printed on a beautiful shiney SIlver Foil or Gold Foil Metallic card stock. The images on the cards are both taken directly from the movie & artistic renditions of some of the characters. These are the only officially licensed trading cards from the movie. They were originally made for & distributed in JAPANESE hobby markets. The limited edition GOLD FOIL cards that are included in this auction were inserted into packs of cards at a rate of only 1 per pack. Bad collation makes set building tough, but you will get all 18 GOLD FOIL CARDS, as well as the 45 SILVER FOIL CARDS TOO! The story is from the mind of Tim Burton. It is done in stop-action like his hugely popular "Nightmare Before Christmas." It is the story of a man named Victor (Johnny Depp), who is to marry a woman named Victoria (Watson). But he jumbles his vows and goes into the woods to practice. But when he finally gets it right, he says his vows correctly and places the ring on a weird looking twig in the ground. Then he is whisked to the Land of the Dead by a Corpse Bride (Helena-Bonham Carter) claiming to be his rightful wife. The set includes 45 Silver Foil Cards & 18 Gold Foil metal-etched limited edition cards (#1-#45 & #46-#63). The print run was limited to 200 cases in the U.S. only!
