Although there are a few chips & scratches, if you want a machine that will do the job at hand. This one will do it. I spent a good about of time on this one going over every connection. Cleaning, lubricating, & adjusting. The time was very well spent. ~WOW~ does this one run GREAT. This is an extremely strong, dependable machine. Will stand up to those so called "Industrial Strength" machines I Guarantee!!! I'm not a quilter, but this machine is so smooth I can't see it not being perfect. The mechanism is very heavy duty. The motor is strong & has a ton of power. The controls are very easy to use. It has a standard 15 class bobbin assembly which is very reliable. These are very easy to clean The presser foot is a low shank. I will installed a rubber motor belt on this machine as I do on most. Although they are not as durably as the rigid belts, they are much easier to deal with. There is less need to worry about belt tension & potential motor burn-out. They can be purchased at most sewing shops & Walmart, Sears, etc. for about $1.99. This machine clearly has an unlimited useful life if well taken care of. I will include a PDF file with a couple other similar machine that should cover all bases. The manual for this machine can be purchased but this is a very standard machine & included information will be adequate. I will also include some service information that will be helpful if you want to tinker with it. You won't be disappointed with this one. Need some help getting set up. I'm here for support. Now for the nuts and bolts: Most machines purchased on ebay go to the shop with a work order right off the bat. No need with this one. A simple "clean & adjust" procedure can run from $75.00- $150.00 plus the cost of repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts can total $200.00 or more. This machine has been totally cleaned inside & out. All its high speed bearings (bushings) have been thoroughly cleaned out. I use a petroleum based cleaner and run the machine at low speed to soften up deposits of built up sewing machine oil & dirt. I then used 2 more applications of cleaner, running the machine at high speed for a couple of minutes between applications. After cleaning, these points were blown out with 150 PSI air pressure. Next, all of the oscillating contact points were blown out with an aerosol solvent. The hook assembly was removed, checked for damage, cleaned, and polished. The motor is smooth & quite with good wiring. Finally, I meticulously adjusted the machine, precisely setting the timing, needle position, presser foot, bobbin case spring, bobbin winder, motor belt, etc. After an exterior cleaning & an application of liquid wax, we're ready to go. ~ If a repair is needed in the future, I have an extensive inventory of replacement parts available. ~ I have included some pictures that will show a few of this machine's details and functions. The winner must contact me within 24 hrs after the auction has closed. Paypal payments should be made within 48 hrs or check payments received within 7 days. I don't believe I have overlooked anything. If you have any questions or would like to request additional pictures, please just ask. ~Please ask for a quote~ I WILL PACK THIS MACHINE AS IF IT WERE MADE OF GLASS. I ask you to save the packing in case you should need to return your product for any unforeseen reason. Now for the best part! I am continually trying to improve on my techniques & come up with solutions to the typical problems encountered in sewing. I have a lot of great ideas that I am working on. Over 100 of you are enjoying my sewing tables. One thing that has always bothered me is the poor control of the foot pedal. With a new motor & an expensive, high quality foot controller it is not a problem, but it is impossible to spend $150 for on this & sell a machine for $200.00 The Necchi & a few other machines have a 2 speed motor switch. What a great feature. It gives you additional control in for those detail jobs where stitch control is critical. The only problem is, that as the motor & transformer loss some of their efficiency the speed control does not perform as intended. PROBLEM SOLVED! This variable speed control works in conjunction with the foot controller. You simply set the dial to the speed range you need. Set at slower speeds you have fantastic controller of the foot pedal to put those stitches exactly where you want them. When set at Max speed the foot controller works at the normal speed. This is all done with absolutely no loss of power. Simple solution to a tough problem. I Do Not Use WD40 Tri-Flow 3&1 Oil Or any other product with additives that will coat the moving parts. ~Beware of those that do.~ They just don't care or don't know any better. Most of these products are not compatible with sewing machine oil. Any kind of coating will cause you machine to bind up in time. $$$$ Good Luck if you are bidding If not bidding check back. I've good a lot of great machines to offer. If there is a specific machine you are looking for, I probably have one & will list it for you. Read about ME if you get a chance. & Don't forget to ask me, if you have a question. & Check Out My other Auctions Thanks for Looking, Shep
