Two (2) small souvenir juice glasses made to commemorate the Royal Visit of Queen Elizabeth II to New Zealand in 1953. As small as New Zealand is, there could not have been too many of these made. I got them from a dealer in New Zealand several years ago. These small (7 cm high) glasses display the Queen's logo. "EIIR" and "1953 Royal Visit New Zealand". The map of New Zealand is visible behind the words and is made to look frosted or etched on the glass. These pretty little glasses are in great condition with no chips or cracks. Very nice items from far away and not something easily found available today. This is one of several British Royalty Commemoratives I am auctioning, so please see my other auctions.
