funk Store Talks about who he is how he takes care of a generals horse, the weather, what's going on with the war near where they are, for the gentleman he writes to have his wife sell their farm for $800 and more. Both envelope and letter dated and another letter in there I cannot make out the writing that isn't dated and in the same pen writing. I don't know much about this as I collected stamps and bought it for the stamp in the 60's. I kept it preserved in plastic bag since I was a teenager. It is hard for me to read but if you want to know details, I will do it again. It does mention Petersburg and I believe somewhere else and the regiment. The letter is from memory when I first got it. Knew someday someone would want it since there were no ebayers back then. Thank you for bidding! I WILL INSURE AND MAIL PRIORITY
