DEFINITION OF CARD CONDITION GRADING:I now use the PSA Grading to give buyers better clarity in the standard of cards I have for auction. The PSA grading has 10 grades (which gives great clarity). However this is difficult to list in its entirety, so I have selected the key grades, but will, from time to time, refer to interim grades which can be found by clicking on the following link: http://www.psacard.com/grading/grading_standards.chtml Mint: The card has the appearance of never having been handled. A superb condition card that exhibits only one of the following minor flaws: a very slight stain on reverse, a minor printing imperfection or slightly off-white borders. Fine (Excellent):Signs of handling, but only to a minimum extent. Very minor rounding of the corners is becoming evident (just detectable). Surface wear is more visible. There may be minor chipping (bumps) on edges. Card may show some off-whiteness of borders. Very Good: No creases and card crisp but some marks/soiling and may have dirty edges. Corners may be starting to round though not extreme. Some surface wear will be apparent, along with possible light scuffing or light scratches. Borders may be somewhat discolored. Good: The card's corners show accelerated rounding and surface wear is starting to become obvious. A good card may have scratching, scuffing, light staining (soiling) on obverse. The card may contain a light crease. Card boarder may show considerable discoloration. Fair: The card's corners will show significant wear. Surface of card will also show wear, including scuffing, scratching, pitting, and staining (soiling). The borders may have become dirty and the card may have one or more creases. Poor: A Poor card may be missing one or more small pieces, have major creasing and extreme discoloration or dirtiness throughout with heavy thickening of the card. Corners will be badly rounded and the card may exhibit heavy creases. SHIPPING CHARGES Buyer pays for postage.
