WOW WHAT A COOL AND RARE FIND!!!!!!!!!!!! We have an original and complete U.S. NAVY ISSUE 6 pocket bandoleer kit, made for issue with the 7.62 X 51 OR .308 cal. M1 Garands issued only to the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Our kit when fully loaded will hold 48 rounds of .308 ammunition. Each bandoleer kit has the following: #1. One Original U.S. Navy Issue 6 pocket OD with a brownish tint cloth (and with a wide carring strap) bandoleer with each pocket designed to hold 1 eight round garand clip. (Stamped on the front is the following: Nato 7.62mm Ball M80 8 Rd. Clip Lot LC 12484 #2. 6-cardboards, with each designed to hold one 8 round loaded garand clip. This is a very early US Navy .308 bandoleer that is actually a WW2 unmarked Garand Bandoleer that was stamped for issue by Lake City making this a pre 1965 issue item. As of Aug 08 E-bay banned us from selling Garand Clips so our auction does not include any garand clips. This kit is in gem mint un-issued condition AND IS BY FAR THE RAREST OF ANY GARAND BANDOLEER EVERY ISSUED TO THE U.S. MILITARY!!!!!!!!!!! These kits when loaded with ammunition and stored in USGI type ammo cans with rubber seals, have the ability to keep your ammo in mint and fresh condition for the next 50 years!!!!!!!!!!
