We have an original Vietnam issued USGI M6 Bayonet made for the .308 or 7.62x51 family of M1A type rifles. Our Bayonet-Knife is brand new in the original USGI military wrap, still sealed, just like it left the manufacture way back in 1961!!!!!!!!! Another rare feature of this bayonet is the date of 1961, makings this a first year production M-6 and quite possibly the earliest ever documented from this contractor who was based in Columbus Ohio. Stamped on the tang is the manufacture MILPAR (By far one of the best quality US manufactures to ever make this bayonet!!!!!!!!!!!!!) plus the nomenclature U.S. M6. This type of military package has only the M-6 Bayonet Inside, and comes with no scabbard. Any NEW IN THE WRAP Vietnam era bayonet is getting very hard to come by let alone one made by MILPAR!!!!!!!! If you are looking for a museum quality and original bayonet for your 7.62x51 or 308 Springfield M1A, Winchester , Smith, Norinco M1A or other manufacture of this type of rifle then you have to look no more!!!!!
