Lady Marjorie's Linens Presents: A Finland Vintage Red Tea Cozy Offered for your bidding pleasure is a RED TEA COZY MADE IN FINLAND WITH DESIGN BY NOTTARUMPU ROVANIEMI. (scroll for description and more photos. It measures about 13" x 13 1/2 and is heavily padded and lined with a contrasting fabric. May have a "BABES IN THE WOODS" motif as two children huddle together on a piece of fur inside the flap of the tea cozy. I am unfamiliar with Finish folk tales so maybe someone might enlighten me as to the represented story. Detailed design. NEEDS CLEANING. Fabric may be wool felt. Reverse side is plain red. Flap needs to be reglued. Children's heads are wooden and they are shown in a designed attire. Too cute! Show off for your next tea party!
