VINTAGE CAST IRON GRISWOLD #8 1901 WAFFLE MAKER Up for auction is this very nice early piece ~ A Griswold Cast Iron Waffle Maker #8. One half of the waffle maker has the following printed on it: American No #8, The Griswold Mfg Co., Erie PA U.S.A, Pat`d Dec. 1, 1908 with the numbers 886. The other half of the waffle iron has printed on it American No. 8, The Griswold Mfg. Co., Erie Pa. U.S.A. Pat`d Dec. 1, 1908 with the numbers 885. The iron swivels in a ball joint so each side may be cooked evenly. This piece is in good condition except for some rusting here and there. It has not been cleaned as we feel collectors should do that in a manner they prefer. This item is sold, as is, to the highest bidder. NO RESERVE!!!
