I grade my postcards in five different categories being: Mint - like new card that is clean with no blemishes (basically looks like a brand new card) Near mint - a card in this grade can have a few minor blemishes like being postally used with writing and postmarked on the back, bumped corners, slight edgewear Very good - a card in this grade can have minor blemishes that a near mint card has but also including minor creasing and minor print marks or writing on the front of the card Good - a card in this grade can have moderate blemishes of those in the higher grades but still a collectible card with no missing pieces of the card Well Used Filler - a card in this grade is just that, best used as a filler card until you can find one in better condition for your collection. A card in this grade may have been glued in a scrapbook or missing corners or have serious creasing or staining.
