Here is a unique set of vintage bookends. These copper and bronze colored metal bookends do attract a magnet. The bases graduate in height from 1/4" to 3/4" and are designed to look like the ground. Standing at the back of the base, is a covered wagon. The detail on the covered wagon is extremely nice, including the spokes of the wheels, the tongue, and a water bucket. Imprinted on the backs of each is, "COPY'T" "W.H. HOWELL CO.". The bottom of each base is covered with worn green felt. Each bookend measures 3 3/4" tall, 6 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" deep, and weighs 2 1/4 pounds. There are no dings, cracks, or breaks in either bookend. The finish on one is somewhat brighter than the other.
