This is a rare celluloid Beagle Dog Tape Measure, missing the tape measure. You can see by the 3rd picture the opening under his muzzle where the tape would have been. Regardless he is adorable. He is wearing a SANTA Hat and he is hand painted with big blue eyes, freckles on his muzzle and he is in crouching position. He does have marks in 2 places embossed on the bottom of his tummy. My camera could not get the detail but it looks like a J with a slight slant off the tip of the J. It has one larger marking and one smaller like this. He measures 4" x 3" overall size. He has a black material like attached to underside of paws. He shows very minimal wear to the paint & overall very good condition. He would be a great addition to Celluloid collectors, sewing collectors or by his hat a nice addition for Christmas. Thank you for looking.
