Beautiful 8" by 10" rectangular silver serving tray with mirrored finish. Sides are gently raised so it does not sit flat. Marked TANE Sterling with a hallmark and inside a circle looks like SZS Hecho en Mexico Plata (made in Mexico silver) 925 (see photo 5). Weighs about 1 lb. 1 oz. on a postal scale (13.6 troy oz.) which equals nearly $246 in scrap value alone. Excellent condition with minimal scratches. With sterling silver prices escalating, lovely vintage pieces like this have unfortunately been snapped up for scrap. As a result, sterling pieces are becoming more and more rare.This lovely sterling piece will be mailed promptly after receipt of payment (or check has cleared) and will be sent priority mail or parcel post. I have several other sterling pieces in separate auctions and will discount shipping if purchased together. Insurance is required. No reserve. California Residents please add 7 3/4% sales tax.
