The right side of the razor displays the legend: WESTER BROS., SOLINGEN-GERMANY and the symbolic identifier of an anchor, an arrow, and a five point angled star. The left side of the blade displays the information: 34 De - Fi REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. this straight razor dates back before WWII. The razor's original box/case displays, in silver print, the legend: Wester Bros., New York, MADE BY WESTER & BUTZ, MERSCHEID - SOLINGEN, GERMANY. , the company's logo or trademark, an anchor, an arrow, and a five point star at an angle. When the top is removed from the razor's case, the following legend is displayed on a white decal: This razor is sharp and ready for shaving. It has been thoroughly inspected and found to be in perfect condition. Broken or misused razors will not be replaced. The top of the razor's case displays, in silver print, the legend: 34 De - Fi, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off./Germany. This vintage straight razor is in VERY GOOD condition. It is sharp!!
