Collection of vintage fabric swatches, probably most from the 1960s Some is labeled as silk; some is labeled as Pongee silk; mostly, I have no idea (I've acquired these by mistake) but they are beautiful and were won in an auction in the 1990s for several hundred dollars. There are probably over 200 swatches in this collection, plus the book Custom Clothes, Vol. 85, from which many swatches are missing, and to which there is some water damage on the bottom 1/8th of the book... But it's a very neat book detailing men's clothes in what looks to be the 1940s? one page has drawings of several men's typical outfits, and the opposite facing page has swatches of the fabrics used to make them. VERY cool.The book is very heavy and if you live in New York it would be best to pick it up; the swatches, however, can be shipped easily.
