We have for sale, an original, complete (without the ammo) and VERY RARE, USGI, LAKE CITY (Lot number LC-50-258), Late style 120rd. Carbine OD Bandoleer that is dated 1972. This bandoleer was issued for use in Vietnam and this was the last year of Carbine Ammunition production for the U.S. Military. Our bandoleer was originally loaded with 120rds of .30 Carbine Ammunition, with each of the six pockets containing 2 ten round .30 M1 carbine strippers, surrounded by cardboard, which were for the speed loading of magazines. This auction includes the following: One 1972 Carbine Bandoleer, 12 late style strippers (which by the way look like .223 Strippers but they are a little bit shorter) 6 original late style cardboards, and one very unique M1 Carbine Guide. The more common early style Carbine Strippers have a guide that you cannot remove and they are attached to each stripper clip. Our bandoleer has the following markings: CAL. .30 Carbine Ball M1 10 RD Clips LC-50-258 on the front, and on the back side NOV APR 72. The bandoleer, strippers, guide and cardboards are in GEM MINT UN-ISSUED CONDITION. All .30 M1 Carbine bandoleers kits are getting hard to find in any condition let alone one like ours in this condition. Not to mention the fact that these late style Strippers and Guides were only made a couple of years. This is a very RARE Vietnam item for the carbine that we have only seen just a few times in the last 20 years. Buyer is to pay for the shipping charges!!!!!!!!
