Looks like no adjustments can be made for some of us at this time.  But always the trooper, I am still attempting to have changes made.******We are on flood watch again, all of southeast/southwest Wisconsin is for the weekend.  Sky is grey and we are expecting rain today, tomorrow and Sunday.  Yikes, some people in western Wisconsin are still pumping the water out of basements, from the last big rains.  No place to put it anymore.  I drove to Johnson Creek (Western wisc) last Saturday and looks like some poor farming families have half the fields still under water!   Let us all hope for sunshine and for a little drying out in near future for all of us including all the folks along the mighty Mississippi.  ******Found a big lot of linens from a living estate, and went to an dandy auction so have lots of items to list.  Small detour as I picked up a new Scottish Terrier pup to add to the household (now I know why they have playpens for human children) over weekend.  Jesse James (AKA Jaime) is 4 pounds of fun and lots of work, but as cute as can be.  Photos to follow.Pretty 1950s children's hankie in green linen. Neat design of leaves printed in white and outlined in stitches.design/colors: bright green hankie with white printed leaves in each corner.  Each leaf and stem is machine embroidered so it looks appliqued.  Hem is scalloped and decorated with white satin stitching.Condition:  very good for its age.  No rips, tears, or stains.  Beautiful printed hankie  with machine sewn accents.  Please note that I purchase linens in LARGE quantities and therefore can not wash, spot treat, iron, and starch them to perfection before auctioning. They come right from the auction floor or estate house to eBay. Some will need soaking OVERNIGHT in Biz or Oxyclean for storage staining, etc and I will clearly lis condition in each listing. Linens purchased at auction or at estate sales might have been stored for 50+ years so expect removable dirt and dust. I will include a soaking/washing guide with the linens. eBay also has some excellent guides on cleaning linens  Dreaded Details ("terms" or benefits from buying from me):Buying should be fun and stress-free.  For this reason I do not require that buyers do anything after the auction ends but pay. I do everything, even the worrying for you.  Just sit back and relax and I will mail your items out according to the schedule below. Let me know if you need an item sooner.***By bidding you agree to the following:1. The flat shipping rate for the US is $1.79 with international shipping higher. Contact me for details. 2. I put item into the mail within ten business days of getting your payment.  I do not ship immediately unless you ask me to (see below).3. FREE shipping for second items(if approximately same weight) and generous discounts for buying more than two items.4. FREE confirmation on all items. 5. FREE insurance if this item or any combination of items that you win is valued at $20 or more. 6. If your items are less than $20, you are completely covered for loss of the item in mail whether you pay for insurance or not. Per eBay and my policy. The mystery of the "BUSINESS" day explained (if you know this one, skip this section):I ship within ten BUSINESS days of receiving payment. However, weekends and holidays are NOT BUSINESS DAYS. As a guide, if your bank is closed, so is postoffice.  These lucky people, bankers and postal employees,do not have to work after 5 pm weekdays, Saturday afternoons,  on Sunday, or holidays like 4th of July!   Very important DUH Warning note (oh oh, here comes the lecture): 1. The above means that your item is put into the mail 14-16 or more days  depending how many weekends are included after you pay. That is what 10 BUSINESS days means.  It excludes all weekends/holidays because no one at PO is working during this time.2. After I dropoff your item at PO, the PO takes over and this means it takes additional time for the item to reach your house.  How fast it comes depends on HOW it is shipped. I always ship first class or priority unless it is a heavy book, then it goes media mail which can take up to two weeks for PO to deliver.Handling time + shipping time = arrival timeOption Two:Please let me know as soon as possible if you need an item earlier. ****I would love to have a big staff like Amazon or Best Buy has, but unfortunately there is only one person working at this store, me!  That is why I delay shipping (see above). ****Also, please ask questions BEFORE auction is finished.  After auctions end I am buying more stuff, packing, mailing, listing, etc.  Difficult to answer questions quickly.  NOTE: most answers you need are in the information above.*****Seems that the troublesome buyers never read the terms or understand eBay policies. But I know if you have gotten to this point,  you are an intellegent and great ebayer. We will get along fine.  If you love vintage linens, books, and other goodies that start low and sell for reasonable prices, plus fair shipping rates, excellent discounts for multiple purchases, this is place for you!Thank you!
