I don't know much about this axe, I think it was for display. The axe head seems to be made from aluminum, it measures about 8 1/2" across the blade edge and almost 5 1/2" across the blade from the edge to the back of the handle.The handle has a 1 1/4" diameter by the axe head, and it tapers down to about 15/16" at the end. I am not sure of the specifics of the wood. There is about a 2" chain loop next to the head for hanging it up. Next to the chain it is marked Made in Spain. It does not have a sharpened edge.
